2. Eligibility Criteria

2.1. To qualify for a loan with Rent Rite Car Hire and Tours, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be a Kenyan citizen or a resident with valid documentation.
  • Provide a valid National ID or Passport.
  • Provide proof of employment and a steady source of income. 2.2. We may request additional documentation for verification purposes, including but not limited to your employment status, income, and any other relevant financial documents.

3. Loan Application Process

3.1. You must complete the online loan application form, providing accurate and truthful information.
3.2. All required fields must be filled out, and you must attach the necessary documents (e.g., proof of income, ID, etc.) as part of your application.
3.3. Rent Rite Car Hire and Tours reserves the right to reject any loan application that does not meet our eligibility criteria or if the provided information is incomplete or inaccurate.

4. Loan Amount and Purpose

4.1. The loan amount is subject to approval based on the information provided in your application.
4.2. The maximum loan amount is Ksh.100,000, unless otherwise specified in the loan terms.
4.3. Loans are provided for specific purposes (e.g., personal expenses, medical bills, education, etc.), and the loan amount will be based on the stated purpose. We may verify the intended use of the loan at our discretion.

5. Interest Rates and Fees

5.1. Interest will be charged on the loan amount at a fixed rate, as disclosed at the time of loan approval.
5.2. The interest rate is calculated based on the loan term and amount and will be stated in the loan agreement.
5.3. You are responsible for paying the full amount of interest along with the principal loan amount.
5.4. Additional fees may apply, such as late payment fees or administrative charges, which will be outlined in the loan agreement.

6. Loan Repayment

6.1. The loan repayment terms will be outlined in your loan agreement, including the repayment schedule, frequency of payments, and due dates.
6.2. Repayment methods include monthly or weekly installments, depending on your chosen repayment plan.
6.3. Early repayment of the loan is allowed without penalty, and any overpayment will be applied towards reducing the outstanding balance.
6.4. If you fail to make a payment by the due date, you may incur additional fees, and your loan may be subject to collection efforts.
6.5. Rent Rite Car Hire and Tours reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings if the loan remains unpaid or if you default on repayment.

7. Loan Term and Default

7.1. The loan term is agreed upon during the loan approval process and can range from 1 to 12 months.
7.2. If you default on the loan or fail to make payments in accordance with the agreed-upon schedule, Rent Rite Car Hire and Tours reserves the right to take legal action to recover the loan amount.
7.3. In the event of default, we may report your non-payment to relevant credit bureaus, which could affect your credit score.

8. Data Privacy and Protection

8.1. By applying for a loan, you consent to Rent Rite Car Hire and Tours collecting, storing, and processing your personal information for the purpose of loan approval, servicing, and repayment.
8.2. Your data will be treated with strict confidentiality and will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to process your application or to comply with legal requirements.

9. Liability

9.1. Rent Rite Car Hire and Tours will not be liable for any damages, loss of profits, or other consequences arising from your loan application, approval, repayment, or default.
9.2. We are not responsible for any third-party services or products related to your loan that may cause inconvenience or issues.

10. Loan Agreement and Disputes

10.1. Upon approval of your loan, you will be required to sign a loan agreement, which will outline the specific terms of your loan, including the loan amount, interest rate, repayment plan, and other relevant conditions.
10.2. Any disputes or issues regarding the loan agreement will be resolved in accordance with Kenyan law, and the jurisdiction of any legal action will be the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.

11. Loan Cancellation

11.1. You have the right to cancel your loan application before funds are disbursed.
11.2. If you wish to cancel your loan, you must notify Rent Rite Car Hire and Tours in writing via email or through our contact page.
11.3. Once the loan has been disbursed, cancellation is not possible, and the terms of repayment will apply.

12. Force Majeure

12.1. Rent Rite Car Hire and Tours will not be held liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.
